This past weekend celebrities such as James Marsden, Courteney Cox, Sheryl Crow and Denise Richards took part in a surfside family picnic at the Malibu Lumber Yard. The stars and their kids to part in face-painting, balloon art and jewelry making. Kids designed their own lunch pail, complete with shovel and sunglasses.

While the parents got to shop at various retail stores with the proceeds going to the EB Medical Research Foundation (www.ebkids.org), which funds research and treatment for the debilitating skin disease epidermolysis bullosa.

I’ve uploaded some new HQ candids of Jimmy to the gallery. He’s enjoying vacation with his family in Hawaii during the Maui Film Festival recently.

The Screen Gems remake starring James Marsden has been delayed from August 13th 2010 to an undisclosed date. It was an expected delay considering Screen Gems had also scheduled the live-action adaptation of “Priest” for the same date.
