This past weekend celebrities such as James Marsden, Courteney Cox, Sheryl Crow and Denise Richards took part in a surfside family picnic at the Malibu Lumber Yard. The stars and their kids to part in face-painting, balloon art and jewelry making. Kids designed their own lunch pail, complete with shovel and sunglasses.

While the parents got to shop at various retail stores with the proceeds going to the EB Medical Research Foundation (www.ebkids.org), which funds research and treatment for the debilitating skin disease epidermolysis bullosa.
