Donnie Darko/Southland Tales director Richard Kelly says he will be making an appearance at the con to promote his upcoming sci-fi thriller The Box, starring Cameron Diaz, James Marsden and Frank Langella. The panel will take place on Friday, July 24th as part of the Warner Bros presentation. Cameron, James and Richard will be in attendance to present a first look at the trailer and “other cool stuff.”

Best pals Sheryl Crow, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox joined forces on Thursday (11 Jun 09) to show their support for a charity campaigning for women’s rights in the Congo.

The trio joined OmniPeace founder Mary Fanaro to co-host a dinner party to raise awareness for the foundation’s Stamp Out Violence Against Women and Girls of the Congo cause in Los Angeles. Guests included actors Demi Moore, Marisa Tomei, James Marsden, pregnant socialite Nicole Richie and Cox’s husband David Arquette.

Aniston admits the campaign has made her more appreciative of her privileged lifestyle.
