Remake of ‘Straw Dogs’ began filming yesterday in Los Angeles, thanks to Guardian.com for the information!

Director Rod Lurie (The Contender, Nothing But the Truth) is well into rehearsals on his version of Sam Peckinpah’s Straw Dogs, which is scheduled for release on February 25, 2011.

James Marsden, Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard were announced as the principal cast over the last few months and recently, Walton Goggins from “The Shield” was announced as having joined the project.
